Au Poivre Bistro

When opening BeerStyles back in 2017, our goal was to create a unique venue for multiple dining experiences. Our taproom and gastropub continues to provide upscale pub fair with 110 beers on tap; it's a relaxed place to enjoy good food and good beers with good people. Flash forward to 2023, our desire to give the community a haven for a diverse dining experience still remains. So, enter Au Poivre Bistro - our newest addition in our large BeerStyles venue - a French Bistro created by our Culinary Director and French Master Chef, David Baruthio. We have known Chef Baruthio for over a decade and know his French cuisine is second to none. Our shared passion for great food, wine, beer and spirits has created the perfect fit for our next venture and our goal is to bring you an experience for every occasion. A place for old friends to make new friends. A place to socialize and come together. We plan to launch Au Poivre Bistro late this fall, so please follow along as we share our exciting next chapter with you.

meet French Master Chef

David Baruthio

Chef David was born in Colmar Alsace, France and raised in Strasbourg, France. He attended the Culinary Institute of Strasbourg and trained under several Michelin stared restaurants. His career took him all around the world, from northern UK, to the Mongolian Steppes, Nepal, Switzerland and eventually Beverly Hills - where he became Executive Chef at the famous L'Ermitage Beverly Hills Hotel - organizing and cooking privately for their celebrity clientele. Chef David has completed more than 10 years of Saisons on public television with the show Iowa Ingredients as well as a few appearances on the Food Network. Chef David has co-written recipes for several books, and just finished writing his own cookbook, "Let the Food Bring us Together," that will be published by the end of 2023. This book celebrates friendship, fresh food and stories from his travels, all while featuring some of his favorite recipes. He believes in simple food with fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. We're so excited for you to enjoy the creations Chef David will bring to Au Poivre in BeerStyles Taproom & Gastropub.
